I spend a LOT of time on the road.

Driving from one appointment to the next can be a little tiring at times, but there’s one side benefit that always makes it worth it: the opportunity to see the city grow and change right before my eyes.

Every time I hit the road, I get to see new construction projects going up, old buildings being renovated, and neighborhoods being revitalized. It’s amazing to witness the transformation of the city over time. And as a notary who travels to different parts of town for appointments, I get to see it all firsthand.

But it’s not just the big changes that I enjoy watching.

It’s also the little things, like the mom-and-pop shops that open up and the local restaurants that become new favorites. I’m always on the lookout for hidden gems that I might not have discovered otherwise.

And then there are the sunsets.

Oh, the sunsets!

As I’m driving home from an appointment, I’ll catch a glimpse of the most beautiful sunset and feel grateful for the moment. It’s a reminder to slow down and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.

Of course, there are also practical benefits to driving around the city. For one, I get to know the best routes to take and the traffic patterns to avoid. (I can’t do it without Google, though!) And because I’m always on the road, I’m often the first to hear about a new shortcut or road closure.

So, the next time you’re driving around town, take a moment to appreciate the changes happening around you. Who knows, you might just discover a new favorite restaurant or catch a stunning sunset. And if you happen to see me driving around, be sure to give me a wave!
